[??] Wilkinson [female, year 11]
The Bare Minimum:
Character Name – Leona Mary Ellen Wilkinson
Nickname – She doesn’t really have one. People just call her… Leona.
Age – 15 [I’m not exactly sure if this is the right age for a year 11. Correct me if I’m wrong, please. =)]
D.O.B. – 03.04.91.
School Year - Eleven
Family Tree:
Dad’s Name – Hayden Wilkinson
Mum’s Name – Mia Penney
Any Siblings? – Yes, three of them.
If so, do they attend the school? – They all do, one in Year 8, and two in Year 7.
Hometown – Greenwich, England.
Heritage – European [Scottish & English]
Appearances can be deceiving:
one.
two.
three.
four.
Eye colour – Leona’s eyes are a pretty blue/green colour. It’s hard to distinguish which colour they truly are, though, so she just tells people they’re multicoloured. It’s simpler that way.
Hair colour – Originally, Leona was blonde, though she recently dyed it a light brown colour. Not much of a difference, both colours suit her.
Build – She’s a fairly small girl. She’s slender and petite.
Height – About 5’3”, as I said, she’s tiny.
Distinctive Features – She has a scar on her left wrist, from an accident she had when she was about eight, which resulted in a very badly broken wrist, the scar hasn’t faded yet. Leona usually tends to cover it with a bracelet, or a watch, though.
Anything else? – No, not really.
About You:
Personality –
Sugar and spice and everything nice; definitely something Leona is made up of. Although she does have a venomous side, she is a sweetie pie most of the time. She’s the kind of girl who will stop and cheer up a little girl with a scraped knee, and if she sees you’re upset, she’ll try and help you out. She doesn’t seem to care about being nosy… unless things get like… really personal. Then she’ll start to feel uncomfortable, and then apologise for prying. She’s that kind of girl.
Leona definitely has some brains. She’s not an airhead, she has a good head on her shoulders, and tends to think before she acts most of the time.
She does pretty well in school, though she does struggle in math and science.
Leona is a very proud person. She is proud of her accomplishments, but does not brag about them all the time. Her pride is easily damaged by actions, not so much words.
Although she is proud, she’s not so proud that she won’t ask for help. When she needs help, she asks for it. This is probably the only reason she’s managed to pass math and science. xD
Leona isn’t one to sit around and wait for fun to come to her. She’ll get off her hiney and find fun for herself. She’s very out going, and tends not to worry about what other people think of her too much. Like every girl, she has some self conscious doubts, but she tries to overcome them and not let them bother her too much.
Leona also dreams a lot, like… daydreams. Her head is usually off in the clouds, thinking about one thing or another.
She also still believes in things like wishing on stars, making a wish when it turns 11:11, she likes to pick the dandelions with the seeds on them, make a wish then blow the seeds everywhere, stuff like that. It makes her happy. :]
At a young age, Leona took an interest in music, the piano, violin and vocal, to be exact. She wasn’t really one to break out in song in a crowd, though. She kept her music to herself, her family, and a few close friends.
The girl had a very sheltered, happy childhood. As a result, Leona is a bit naïve, not very knowledgeable in things like drugs and the like.

History – Leona Mary Ellen graced us with her birth fifteen years ago, in the city of Greenwich, London. She is the oldest of the four Wilkinson children, a fact which she loves dearly. It gives her power over her younger siblings. She had a very happy childhood, and has little complaints about her teenage years. Her only complaint was moving from Greenwich and her friends to Carsontela, she wasn’t exactly keen on having to make new friends, but she soon got over that. She still feels a little awkward in her new surroundings, but then again, she did feel a little awkward in Greenwich as well.
RP stats:
How long have you been RPing for? – A few years.
How would you rate your RP skills? – Uhm, somewhere between semi-literate and literate? I’m not exactly sure.
Sample RP – This is the beginning to a short story that I started for an English assignment, which I scrapped because my English teacher saw it and said it was too depressing. =/ Anyway, I kept it… ‘cause I like it. :]
Two Years Prior
Age 14
"Fionna, darling, Brendon is here." The girl's mother's soothing voice and warm hands on her cold arms, shaking her softly, woke her. She rubbed her eyes drowsily and sat up slightly. Glancing around, slightly dazed, she spotted her friend and smiled weakly.
"Hey Breddy." Fionna spoke quietly, opening her arms to give the boy she had known since her first birthday a hug. He inched forward slightly, and Fionna embraced him warmly. The boy rested his head and Fionna's shoulder and she pecked him on the cheek. "I love you, Breddy, so much."
"I love you too, Fi," His voice was thing, masked with tears. The blonde girl pulled away, wiping tears from Brendon's cheeks and holding back her own. "Are you ready for one last adventure, Breddy?" The girl asked, clasping the boy's hands. He nodded, and Fionna slowly rose to her feet and moved into her closet, getting dressed quickly.
"Where do you want to go?"
"Can we go out to the old tree fort?"
"Anything you want Breddy." Fionna answered, taking his hands and leading him out of her room.
Five minutes later the pair was climbing up a ladder leading up to the tree fort they had built many years ago. The two sat in silence for a long time, just taking in the peace they found in each other.
"I don't want to go yet, Fi, I, I haven't had enough time yet." It was Brendon who broke the silence. Fionna looked up, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I don't want you to leave yet, either, Breddy," Fionna murmured, wrapping her arms around her dear friend and settling down in his lap, head resting against his chest.

The hospital room and been sickly white, the walls all painted the same dull colour; not one single painting graced the walls. The bed sheets were crisp and uninviting, and the wires that connected Brendon to the machines feeding him his medication, and then Brendon lying in the bed, helpless, in unconsciousness was enough to make you cry. And that is what young Fionna did, sitting in an arm chair beside the boy's bed, crying at the sight of his motionless body, thinking about the times before with Brendon, and the times ahead without her Breddy, her best friend.
It had been three months ago, almost to the day that the two were in the tree house together, reminiscing. Brendon had been Fionna's first everything. Her first friend, her first best friend, her first date, her first kiss, her first boyfriend, the first person outside her family to say 'I love you', the first person to tell her she was beautiful, and her first friend to become terminally ill. Since the day Brendon had been admitted into the hospital, Fionna had sat in the arm chair beside his bed. She rarely left his side, and when it was, it was only for a few minutes. That is, until that one day. She had been forcibly removed from the hospital bed, for the sake of her sanity, they told her. They said they had been stupid to let such a young girl to stay with the boy for such a long period of time. It wasn't healthy for her.
Two hours after Fionna had left the room, Brendon's heart had stopped beating. He was gone, and he wasn't coming back.
Six Month Prior
Age 15
Age 15
Nine months had passed since the death of her darling Brendon, and Fionna wasn't much different from the state she was in when she sat in the hospital room, watching Brendon's helpless form 24 hours a day. The girl rarely spoke, and when she did it was to answer simple questions, with five words or less. She had lost her spunk, she wasn't the hyperactive Fionna they knew and loved anymore. She was a sullen creature now, her eyes had lost the twinkle, and she had become sickly thin, her skin pulled gauntly over her cheeks.
Her parents had become increasingly worried about their youngest daughter. She didn't leave the house much, just to go to school when the two forced her to, or when her elder brother, Jason had managed to bribe her out of the house with promise of a trip to the local coffee shop for a blended Chai drink, or she was dragged out of the house by her mother to go on a shopping spree
